Charming British expression referring to trying out something untested or kind of unknown. It's really a metaphor - the new thing is like a boiled sweet, the uknown consequences are the flavour, so you "suck it and see"!

Pata sucia

Spanish for "dirty foot" that's used in Latin America to insult someone by calling them Dirty/Gross (most of the times that's the case, but it can also be used sometimes just as an insult even if the person is clean). Mothers may call their children this a lot if they're not wearing some kind of shoes at home.

You can say "don't be Pata Sucia" or "don't be A Pata Sucia". Both are fine
