Neurocam

An internet hoax, or study. Created by students at the University of Melbourne.

They make up assignments, and get members to join from their website neurocam.com. They create an atmosphere that you are in a "secret society". These assignments can vary from leaving certain pictures in books, to taking pictures of certain things in your area. All assignments are met with a deadline and are to be emailed back to neurocam.

"I just got my latest neurocam assignment completed!"
"Good to know you used your time wisly."

the intensely pleasurable sensations generated by using, hearing or coining a new word or phrase (that doesn't suck). Frequent neologasms have been proven to reduce the biological age of both the speaker and the listener. Neologism + orgasm.

Him: Volunteers submit over 1000 new definitions to Urbandictionary every day. It ain’t fo the money; it’s all about the neologasms.

neuroglamorizing

Noun. The hyping of ordinary speech by the use of frequent but superfluous terms relating to the brain and brain functioning.

Instead of talking about becoming less fearful, for example, you make it sound like your understanding is much deeper and very scientific by talking about reducing activation in your amygdala.

Dogmatic materialism is so prevalent in scientific and academic circles that you find neuroglamorizing everywhere.

Saying that a reassuring tone in your voices reduces your students' amygdalar activation, instead of saying that it calms their anxiety, is neuroglamorizing.

An entity that is so nerdy and joy creating, that it causes immense excitement in ones mind, ultimately giving the person a nerdgasm.

An explosive, often verbal, sensation caused by a mind-blowing occurrence relating to nerdy material. A strong enough nerdgasm can lead to violent spasms similar to those of a seizure.

nerdgasm

An overexposure to an electronic item worthy of awe, or jumble of code-scripting and multimedia representing in a fucking awesome playable interface (aka a fucking awesome video game). One in this overexposure usually Splurges uncontrolably over anything within a 10-20 foot radius(occassionally blue???). A state of shock arrests the splurger's abuility to do anything from anywhere between 5 minutes to three months. If one tries to avoid a nerdgasm they are a n00b and should be pwned imediately by someone totally 1337.

"Oh ShIt i just nerdgasmed all over the place"...
