Verb: the act of being a nerd.

talking about nerdy things ie:
group of nerds:'so then i defragged the flux capaciter and tweaked with the internal hard drive...good as new'
'awesome!'
someone else: 'ugh, they're nerding again!'
-OR-
boy: 'i stood in line for 5 days waiting to see the new star wars movie.'
girl: *thinking* '*sigh* he's nerding..again.'

nerding is soon to become the new pimping, its not about train spotting, playing chess, collecting stamps or jizzing at the sight of a star wars film. Nerding is all about enjoying things as they are and being enthuseastic about it!!

Like, oh... my... god! Those kids over there with the pocket protectors are such nerds! They're always going nerding after school with their Magic cards!

neffing

Neffing is posting on a forum about basically nothing in order to drive up post totals.

An example is replying with only a smiley or one word such as "lol": this causes a lot of useless post. Rules often include - no neffing or you'll have your post count or rank significantly reduced!

When your talking to a person and they start going off about a comic book hero or video game and all you can do is nod and pretend you understand what they are saying

Girl 1: Hey! how was your weekend?
Girl 2: Oh fun. i was busy dodging lightning bolts in the thunder plains

Girl 3: wha...?
Girl 2: Oh you see i have to dodge them 200 times in order to get the venus sigil and... (blah blah blah)

Girl 1: oh look there she goes nerding off again
