Linden

The surname of a large extended virtual family which acts as the "gods" (i.e. administrators) of the metaverse known as Second Life. Any avatar with the last name "Linden" is therefore part of an elite upper echelon of Second Life muckety-mucks responsible for new policies/protocols/programming but never responsible for such trivialities as lag, sim crashes, missing inventory items, or gridwide outages.

The hoi polloi are thereby cautioned: if you spot a Linden in-world, approach at your own risk; griefing a Linden may be the ultimate in hilarity but it will likely herald the end of your Second Life.

*Disclaimer: the most friendly of all the Linden family is likely Torley Linden, as witnessed by his uberchirpy trademark "Friendly Greetings" salutation and his many helpful YouTube tutorials.

Linden High School (Michigan)

A School located in Linden, Michigan full of people that will never amount to anything. Approximately 80% of the students have tried marijuana and of those that have tried, 90% smoke it regularly because they are losers. The football team is pretty much the only good part of the school, having won a majority of the regular season games, but then end up getting their assholes eaten out in a disgusting manner during the playoffs, esp. during the 2010 playoffs when the starting quarterback threw more passes for touchdowns to the Goodrich Martians, than to his own team. Students fit into one or more of the following categories: Jock; Douchebag; Prep; Whore; Pothead; Loner; Bitch; Obnoxious; or Smart-ass. Those who graduate from Linden usually remain in the area until they die because they are all racist pricks who would get their pussies ripped in half if they were to go to a major city.

Student 1: "What school do you go to?"
Student 2: "Linden High School (Michigan)."
Student 1: "Really?"
Student 2: "Yea, why?"

Lindenwold High School

A building that is said to be for education but really is where the homeless and useless wait up to 4-8 years before heading to Camden County College. A place where the stupid teach the lazy and the lazy teach the failures. A small percentage of students who are capable to survive this education death trap and not spend most of their years trying to reach their sophomore year, move on to out of state colleges, hoping to never have to not only return to the school but the entire state of New Jersey.

My cousin went to Lindenwold High School and left his dignity and self-respect behind. Oh he wasn't one of the lucky ones.
