indifferent ignorance

A state of near-total ignorance, especially regarding subjects concerning racism, politics, sexism or homophobia. Often a person suffering from indifferent ignorance is vaguely aware that they have not researched or considered their opinions, but they are not inclined to research or consider them.

A large amount of indifferent ignorance stems from the tabloid press, party political propaganda and agreeing with the views of the people by whom you were raised.

Gender indifferent

Gender indifference is a term used to describe an individual that does not prioritize gender in any kind of interpersonal relationship, whether platonic or romantic.

The concept of gender indifference should not be confused with gender blindness. Being gender indifferent does not mean not seeing gender but rather understanding the characteristics that accompany gender identity, but at the same time, determining them not valuable when evaluating compatibility with another person.
