An app created in 2011 of April 26th. It is an app to create your own original works/jokes/gifs that make people laugh. Unfortunately most works on there aren't original and are reposts. Not that there aren't any original works but most are reposts. There are three sections on this app. Feature Section- 20 posts are picked in the morning and afternoon to get 100k + likes. Popular Section- Where old features retire. Collective section-Where everyone work is published to be liked and seen by ifunny users.
Other info; Will Smith, Will Ferrell, Kate Upton, Jennifer Lawerence, Bacon and Nutella are the major favorites of this ifunny world. There are users on here whom take this app too seriously and their life goal is to get a or more features. These people who have more than 5 features act as if they've won a Grammy. Very sadly, they also have multiple accounts in order to get top comments and get "popular" A top comment is when you comment on a featured post and it gets many likes which turns into a top comment to where it gets thousand of likes. But in order to do that you must comment early. Anyways it's an awesome app just don't ruin it by posting kiks, rates or chain letters.

An app that used to be great, but has gone downhill for a number of reasons:
-The creator of the app was arrested for fraud
-There was a war between 2 servers (America and Brazil) resulting in a lot of bans
-Only popular creators get featured
All the good memes are stuck in collective, buried under the porn/emo/furry/(enter fandom here) While featured is just screenshots of other social media sites. Ifunny was created in 2011 as a site for comedic purposes factions quickly formed, such as Ipolitics and its subfaction the SJWs, all of them vying to destroy the others. It was originally ment for people who were 17+, but was flooded by 12 year olds. Porn was rampant (originally full pornhub videos, now reduced to softcore) The site/app suffered it's final nail in the coffin in 2018 when the dedicated feature and mod teams were replaced by bots who make terrible feature and ban selections, resulting in stolen memes being featured and report spamming becoming a common strategy to eliminate accounts. The people who have been around since the beginning are left to reminisce about "The Good Ol' Days" with the last holdout of the old days, the logo, being changed.
