They also have an awesome show called Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

Halloween Haunt

A generally frightening event that is put on every year from the end of September to October in certain theme parks owned by the company Cedar Fair. The event usually contains multiple haunted houses (also referred to as mazes), scare zones (area in the park swarmed with monsters), and special shows. Local residents can apply to work as a monster and scare guests. Common haunted houses (aka mazes) in the chain are "CornStalkers", "Slaughterhouse", "The Asylum", and "Club Blood", plus many many more.

Person A: OMG I went to Halloween Haunt last Saturday!
Person B: Was it scary?
Person A: Yeah!! My favorite maze was The Asylum, the girl in the electric chair in the end scared the hell out of me!!

Guy #1: Dude, have you been to Halloween Haunt this year?
Guy #2: Yeah, I did all the haunted houses.

Guy #1: Which one was your favorite?
Guy #2: Club Blood, definitely. The strippers were hot!!

Pagen holiday for celebration of nature and spirits/energy that Catholic's adapted and renamed "Eve of All Saint's Day" or "Hallowed Eve" (becoming "Halloween"). On this day - October 31st - people are encouraged to dress up and "trick ot treat" to fool the spirits that roam the earth.

Halloween is my favorite holiday.

I'm going to dress-up as a cat or Madonna for Halloween.

Halloweenie

A person who loves Halloween above all holidays. Halloween is their Christmas, Easter, Valentines and St.Patrick's day all-in-one. Of course this person probably dresses mostly in black, could be kinda scary themselves until you get to know them, makes cool props, decorates their yard and home like a haunted house and has no problem coming up with the most creative and original costumes ever to show up at a party.
(Definitely an interesting person to know in my humble opinion!!)
