Genre Nazi

One who zealously classifies music as being of a certain genre.
A genre nazi will argue against anyone who claims the music in question is a different genre than what the grammar nazi has said it to be.
The word "grammar nazi" stems from the slang term for someone who aggresively corrects people on their spelling, vocabulary and grammar - a "Grammar Nazi".

Typical genre nazi argument.

"Deadmau5 is a progressive house/trance artist, not trance/progressive house artist, you idiot!"

"Metallica are a thrash metal/speed metal band, not a speed metal/thrash metal band, you idiot!"

"Rihanna is a R&B/pop music singer, not a pop music/R&B singer, you idiot!"

Genre Fandom

Genre Fandom (also written as genre-fandom) is a fandom with no discernable source of canon, too many discernable sources of canon, or something in which anything can be canon if it's creator decides it is. Examples of this include cryptids, eldritch monsters, or furries. This category is for fandoms that don't technically have a clear canon source (clear canon as in Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Haiykuu, etc), but still have a community following as though it does.

1: Would furries be a fandom?
2: I think they'd be a genre fandom...

Multi-genre films existed since the mid-20th century. WALL-E is a prime example of a Multi-genre film as it is a romantic science-fiction comedy-drama Disney computer-animated film.

Will needlessly slap stupid and pointless labels on music that sounds pretty much the fucking same for no other reason than the afore mentioned. Noted for incredible superiority complexes and complete bullshit.
