A fashion fad commonly seen in inner city ghettos, trendy hip hop videos, and white/wigga neighborhoods where a gangsta or wannabe gangstabusta-brown wears loose pants that look like they are carrying a bag of shit in their ass cuz they hang down so low. Also known as shitpants.

Gangstanaut

Originally created to define someone who is not 'gangsta'. Rotating these words started the phrase 'Gangsta, Not' which sounded very similar to 'astronaut'. Hence, Gangstanaut was created to define a fake thug or someone who thinks they are 'gangsta' - but are obviously NOT.

"Hey Jim, look at that Gangstanaut over there making empty threats to people and pretending he is thug-life."

"Wow Jerry, you're right. He's relatively small too, he must be on some kind of surreal powertrip that he relies on to justify his existence."

When someone is a real gangsta and/or gangsta wannabe. Side affects of gansta syndrome include walking significantly slower, grabbing crotch when walking significantly slower, one talking like one is drunk, wearing sweats/jeans down to one's ankles so one's ass is hanging out and on display, carrying a gun, holding the gun on its side when gun is in use, wearing a paper towel in one's pocket for no apparent reason, wearing bandanas on one's head, etc
