Facebook Ethics

Facebook Ethics involves the practice of lying to people to obtain their personal information for your own private agendas. This is increasingly shown in the social networking world, popularized by Facebook.

May use the following tactics:
- bait-and-switch, promising something nice but doing something else.
- web buzzwords that have no meaning but sound cool because they're buzzwords.
- bandwagoning, because everyone is on Facebook.
- enraging you every time a change is made but keeping you coming back through its allure. see bait-and-switch again.

All these tactics allow the Facebook-ethical actor to gain control of the masses and continue without much resistance; they can then run off the idea that it is ethical by someone's standards.
Person 1: I'm going to sell this mailing list to a third party!
Person 2: But that's not ethical.
Person 1: Yes it is, it's Facebook Ethics!

Situational Ethics

A system of ethics that evaluates acts in light of their situational context rather than by the application of moral absolutes.
Situational ethics:

Imagine you are invited to dinner at the house of a friend. You arrive, exchange polite conversation, enjoy a few appetizers and sit down at the table. Midway through the main course you suddenly begin shouting at the other guests, overturning the chairs, grab the host out of his chair and begin physically assaulting him.

That would be considered highly inappropriate behavior - unless, of course, you had just observed him choking, you took charge of the situation, instructing one guest to call for help, another to wait outside and flag down the ambulance while you cleared obstructions out of the way and administered the life-saving Heimlich maneuver.

sex obligation ethics

an ethics in which it is wrong to withold sex from someone and cause suffering from sex pangs. which is equal to a punch in the face ect.

Male earing ethics

Right Ear = Gay

Left Ear = Straight

Both Ears = Bisexual
Originally if a man had an earing you could only rock it in the left ear which meant you were straight, the right ear meant you were gay and both meant that dude was bye. At some point probably in the 80s or 90s dudes started rocking the big diamond studs in both ears like that shit was cool. Now in 2015 that shit is considered normal. Me personally I rock mine in the left ear at all times, that's just me. Male Earing Ethics needs to be taken into consideration.

entrepreneur ethics

The moral underpinnings of being or becoming an entrepreneur include: 1. take care of your business, 2. so your business can take care of your family, 3. so your family can take care of you, 4. so you do not become a burden on your fellow human being or the state, 5. so you are in a position to help your fellow human being and 6. so they can help your business.
When you give a person a fishing rod instead of a fish, you have started him or her on the road to self reliance which is the sine qua non of entrepreneur ethics.

Workplace ethics

A paragraph of ethical policy that is mentioned in every offer letter that an individual signs to become an employee and is never taken notice of.
When asked about the workplace ethics of an organization, an employee appeared to be oblivious of the fact.
