Social Dementor

A person who sucks up behaviors, speech, or styles that they think are cool or funny from those around him/her or in the media and adopts them as his/her own personality like a dementor eating someone's soul. This person is trying to be accepted, but most likely comes off as a douchebag, try hard, piece of shit.

Greg: "Did that dude just say your line, bro?"
Mike: "Yeah, he steals everything I do."
Greg: "Fucking social dementor."

Demtatorship

Government that, by all appearances, runs a country as a typical democracy with free elections. However, the political theologies have become so diluted, and the populace so uninterested in the process, that those in power (and their opposition) actually govern in a dictatorial fashion.

Most of those living in the free world believe they live in a democratic society, but in reality, because the people have essentially given up all say in their share of the power, most people live under a demtatorship.

Dementor's Kiss

The act of sucking the air out of your partner's lungs during a make-out session.

During a make-out session with my boyfriend, I (quite sweetly) uttered the line “you take my breath away”. He leaned in to kiss me again, and as we were doing so he literally sucked the air out of my lungs before exclaiming “That’s what it feels like to be a Dementor!”
The worst thing…his geekiness actually turned me on a bit.
