yoy

While running, when you leap or jump over an obstacle (such as a hedge, fence, wall, or mound) and expect to land and continue on but there is no land to land on, so you fall. Usually the fall is far enough to cause injury or death. The term is named such for two reasons: the sound made upon realizing you just yoy and because "yoy" looks like an emoji of a person falling.
