Filipino word. Noun-broom, verb-to sweep. Made famous during NBA finals when basketball-crazy SF Bay Filipino Warriors fans brandish native brooms to encourage the team to "walis" - sweep the championships. Sports commentators have started to use the word "walis" when discussing Warriors.
"I didn't think the Warriors would walis it, cause I was rooting for the Blazers (or Rockets or other lame a** team), but DubNation did walis. They are indeed the team for the ages."

A Mexican nick name given to the best looking small town gal who moves to the big city. Not to be confused with a guys name. Pronounced wALL-ees with emphasis put on the ALL. They are very rare. Do not annoy them or you will regret it. Staying in their favor will bring great luck, fortune, and happiness.
