Following closely behind an ambulance or fire engine in your car, passing all the other cars that have pulled over. A great thing to do during peak traffic hours when the streets are packed with cars.

I was running late for work this morning, but I made up lots of time when that ambulance passed me. I siren surfed through the busiest part of town and made it there on time.

The tunnel vision acquired by first-responders that cause them to only worry about getting to the scene and nothing else. It is commonly seen in firefighters and EMS when responding to a call or page. They will often disregard the rules of the road in favor of getting to the scene quickly
