(Although commonly thought to be a comparison between Germany's leader during WWII and people who exhibit this type of personality, the real connection is that a standard method of referring to these people is to call them an "A H" which happens to be Hitler's initials (Adolf Hitler). The fact that Hitler himself was an asshole simply adds icing to the cake.)
