Slurvian

A manner of speaking that combines the words to the point that syllables are being excluded as the words are SLURRED together. This term originated in the 1930's. Appalachian speakers as well as East Coast speakers are known to speak fluent Slurvian. It may be the common string that holds all the accents of the east together. It can also be found in Chicago.

His family in Kentucky speaks fluent Slurvian! They were all: "Widen ya tell me y'alls were comin'? I've been diiiiine to meetcha new wife!"

An uneasy or upset stomach, often experienced as diarrhea, nausea.

"Don't eat those McNuggets Kevin, they've been sitting out for two days. You're gonna get the slurzy yurtles if you eat them."

The Irby-Slurpy refers to when one withholds oral sex prior to obtaining a formal job offer in order to exchange a non-HR compliant service in a quid-pro-quo.

I talked to Josh today, he sounded really off, took a while to get to the bottom of it, he is suffering from taco-scurvy. Amsterdam is a barren wasteland when it comes to good Mexican food. He should get on the first flight back to LA.
