Curb Surfing

The process of going through residential neighborhoods just before the city sanitation trucks pick up “bulk trash.” Those items that will not fit in the homeowner's regular trash container are considered “bulk trash.” The residents are instructed to place those items on the curb in front of the house and at a scheduled time the city will pick up everything and dispose of it. The goal is to beat the sanitation truck to the neighborhood so the items on the curb can be searched before the truck arrives.

Here in Dallas Texas, we have been curb surfing since the late 1990s.

The act of attempting to ride a bus by standing in the aisle like a surfer. The goal is to stand for as long as possible without touching anything (seats, poles, people) for support.

Often a competition between two people to see who can stand the longest.

Dude I found this online while sturfing last night, it's funny stuff you gotta have a look. While looking up the weather forecast you find yourself sturfing a 'Cats who look like Hitler' site but you're not sure how you got there. That sturf then leads you to a name generator site and you're now known as ' MagentaBlade Blast Off Pigplanter Kid Playa O'Callaghan' but your friends just call you squeak for short.
