1: term coined by ugly and fat people when good looking people did not want to have anything to do with them. This term is used to make said fat and ugly people feel better about rejection.

2: pretending to like people you really don't and treating people the exact opposite how you feel towards them.

ie: fat woman tries to get a gorgeous man to dance with her, he declines.
He is at the top of the food chain.
She is at the bottom. She goes back to her friends and tells them he rejected her, they convince her he is "shallow" because he can't see her "inner beauty" although, he'd be able to, if she lost a lot of weight!

An adjective used to describe basically anyone attractive. SEE, pretty people MUST be shallow, huh? In a lot of cases, this is true, but not because of their appearance. A lot of people who don't fit society's standard of pretty are as shallow as a petri dish.

Also used to describe people who can pick out any guy/girl to ask out or talk to just by looking at them.
