An online girlfriend that you never meet. In other words, the most you ever see of her are pixels on a screen.

1. Envy of another person's higher-resolution camera or flat-panel display screen.
2. The sudden realization that 8 Megapixels no longer cuts it in the digital photography world.

"Daryl has a bad case of Pixel Envy ever since his girlfriend got that new 10 MP Nikon SLR. He may never recover."

a person: put their picture on the computer; in porn?
in a photo editor: feature that makes the picture into blocks, as if it used to be small and was enlarged too much

Someone who looks awesome in a picture 50 pixels wide, but horrible when you see the full size version. 50 yarder for the computer age.
Guy1: Hey, come check out this chick that friended me.
Guy2: I've seen her before, she's a 50 pixeler. Click on the full size version of her avatar.
Guy1: Holy s**t, she's nasty.

1) A digital photographer who magnifies photographs on the computer screen to critically evaluate image resolution at the pixel level. Commonly used as a derogatory remark to describe:
a) A photography n00b who erroneously believes that the quality of a digital camera is determined solely by the number of megapixels.
b) Insecure troll who frequents digital camera forums to religiously proclaim how his/her camera pixel count is greater than yours.
c) Wanna be photographer who debates about pixel count all day but doesn't have the talent to take a half-decent photograph.

I grow tired following the thread of verbal diarrhea left behind by that pixel peeper.
Why don't you pixel peepin' trolls get some sunshine this week and take a photograph or two?
