An oldgen would be factions like GetSwatted/Frost, Conquer, 6thNation, LbX, and many more.

This person then went on to college, got some acne meds, fashionable glasses and blossomed into an fairly attractive man who is still into computers, dungeons & dragons, sci-fi.
