Netherrealm

The Netherrealm is a realm in the Mortal Kombat series and it's version if hell. It seems to ressemble a volcanic "continent" containing many volcanoes and lava pits. Many demons and spectres are native to this realm and it's the place where all evil beings' souls descend after being killed. Scorpion (Hanzo Hasashi) and Noob Saibot (Bi-Han) were both reincarnated in the Netherrealm and resurrected by the sorcerer Quan Chi.

After Shinnok invaded Earthrealm, Raiden and the Elder Gods stopped him and locked him up in the Netherrealm.

Essentially being high, but the feeling of being in a different realm.

Will typically feel like being pulled down and then just being stuck in one's mind for a long time, with enhanced visual and auditory visualisation in the mind.

Can consist of nostalgia, reliving memories, seeing kaliedescope very clear in the head, etc...

Example one:
Nicholas: "Eh, dude are you feeling that rip yet?"
Lorenzo: "Dude.. I have delved into the netherrealms"

Example 2:
Jason: "Oi, have you begun to rise?"
other person: "I have gone down into the netherrealms"

This is a variation on the word "netherverse" (plural netherverses) (fantasy) A lower universe, realm, region; or underworld. In this case, it refers to the marginalization of trolls into silos away from public discourse by blocking them from your social media feed.

This is a Billy Flowers level of hopeless stupidity best marginalized into the bowels of the “nethernet”.
