magnet head

An intoxicated person whose head has apparently become attracted to metal objects. Characteristics of a magnet head include stumbling into and/or leaning towards roller shutters, parked cars, lampposts or any other metal objects within a five to ten foot radius, usually leading with the head or face. Magnet heads are most commonly found alone, roaming the streets late at night having been abandoned by friends or ejected from a party.

Oh my God, we gotta get this magnet head out of here, he's gonna face plant into our fridge.

Magnet Mafia

Denver, Colorado based street art collective using magnets as the sole method to apply their art in public places. Because magnets are temporary and non-destructive to property, the 'Mafia' has been able to bypass many of the legal troubles associated with more permanent forms of street art and graffiti. With the help of friends, artists, and other organizations, the 'Mafia' shares art with the public, locally, nationally, and internationally.

Any magnetic surface (steel, iron, tin) is fair game, most street and traffic signs are aluminum which is not magnetic.

The Magnet Mafia was founded in the spring of 2006.

The Magnet Mafia decorates the streets of Denver with art on magnets.
