Honor Suicide

Back in the day, when people abided by honor codes, when someone disgraced themselves, their families, and their countries, they were asked to commit suicide to restore honor to their families.

Our society has completely deteriorated because we have abandoned all honor codes. Honor suicides were a powerful mechanism to keep people's behavior in check, and without that, people ran amok for too long.
