Güey

Friend, buddy, fool, stupid, dummy.

"Way" instead of "Güey:" In Spanish, people often call someone who made a mistake or does something foolish or is a trusted buddy or a friend who will not get offended if a friend calls him "buey." But through decades, such word has evolved to "güey" because it is easier and quicker to say "güey" that "buey." "Oye güey, ¿qué onda ese?" one can say to a close friend in a sentence. Thus, the word "güey" should not be confused with the English word "way" as in: "No way."

A Person with an expensive sense of style, and is considerate to them and others around them. They seem tough on the outside but are like marshmallows in the inside. They are extremely athletic, and take part in lots of team sports. A Gudelj is a natural leader, And makes his team his number one priority. Guden

The title "Guden" (in english "The God"), is often used about a person who is especially engaged, and/or gifted within a specific area, such as; athletichs, work, or if some part of ones anatomy distinguishes in a positive matter.

You have to earn the title "Guden", and the ceremony is often held under casual circumstances, by "Laksen" also known as, Haugianeren Trygva. "Laksen" is a selfdeclared "separatorGud", "lekkasjeGud", "dieselGud" and last but not least, "AVCATGud".

When you adress a person who is titled "Guden", you have to adress him/her with his/hers title, pronounced with the Haugesund dialect.
