one of the only really good bands out there today. i have advice: do not buy a disturbed CD at Walmart. Liberation sounds like shit with every single motherfucker bleeped out. I hate big retail stores like that where they pull some shit like that to ruin the song, just as long as we can't hear any cuss words, heaven forbid. Anyway, they have some truly great songs, like Stricken, Down with the Sickness, Fear, Liberation, Decadence, Just Stop, I could go on. great band and FUCK you haters.

disturbed is fuckin awesome and are keeping nu-metal alive by a thread.

Disturbed

Is a quartet out of Chicago, Ill. Released their first album in 2000 "The Sickness." In 2002 followed up with "Believe" it debuted at number one. In 2005 they released "Ten Thousand Fists" which also debuted at number one. Followed by "Indestructible" which debuted in 2008 at number one making them one of six bands rock bands in history to ever have three consecutive albums debuting at number one. The bands smash hit "Inside the Fire" gave them their first grammy nomination (in 2009) for best HEAVY METAL performance. Infamous for their use of cryptic lyrics, they often have the listener replaying the song to fully absorb the meaning, however the release of their new album has a much more direct lyrical approach

Disturbed

A great metal band who had the misfortune of being branded with the "nu metal" label, which warrants every hater to say "listen to real metal." Despite this label, Disturbed is heavier than the fathers of metal, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, and other influential metal bands such as AC/DC and Iron Maiden. In fact, their most popular song, Down with the Sickness is heavier than Metallica's most popular song, Enter Sandman.

Sure, Mike Wengren is no Lars Unlrich and Dan Donegan will never tear through solos like Dave Mustaine, but Disturbed is a band that should not be underestimated. Everything from David Draiman's aweworthy vocal range to the band's ability to recreate the feeling of pure, relentless terror give them the right to be called the Metallica of the new millennium.

Disturbed is a pretty fuckin' excellent nu metal band that should'nt be labeled as such. they've worked hard to be where they are today, & deserve to be amongst the truly metal bands.Unlike limp bizkit (Which is,in my opinion,the very reason why nu metal fucked up)who are such sell outs & posers(and rap),otherwise,disturbed deserves to be labeled as true heavy metal!!!!LONG LIVE HEAVY METAL!!!

4 reasons Why disturbed does'nt deserve to be nu metal:

#1:They dont rap!!!
#2:They ACTUALLY HAVE talent( UNLIKE LIMP BIZKIT)
#3:THEY ARE'NT LIMP BIZKIT!!
#4:LIMP BIZKIT SUCKS :( THEY PLAY THE CORPERATE GAME & ARE SO FAGGY & FULL OF SHIT!UNLIKE DISTURBED)
