Bunad

Bunad is a traditional Norwegian folk costume frequently used in Norway, but also in Denmark and Germany. It has roots from the 18th-century, and inspiration from national romanticism. Today it is common to wear bunad at various celebrations, such as: folk dances, weddings, baptisms, confirmations and especially the May 17 National Day in Norway.
