In incarceration, BBP is an acronym for: Big Brother Program, used widely throughout juvenile detention and placement in San Antonio. The Big Brother Program is not and actual certified program it is more of an underground term for people in juvenile prison who provide protection in exchange for a portion of the clients food. BBP is a term coined in San Antonio and used mainly at the Bexar Country Juvenile Detention Center on the cities south side.
