Fatefull night in Istambul where Liverpool pulled off one of the most memorable combacks in European history to beat AC Milan in the European Cup final.

From being 3-0 down at half time, led by captain Steven Gerrard, Liverpool scored 3 times in 6 minuets to end the game 3-3. Extra time followed with no goals, and Liverpool won in a tense penalty shootout.

More than this single historic victory this was Liverpool's 5th European cup, making them the 3rd most successful team in the competition, and alowing them to keep the trophy.
