A Mob in the 2009 Swedish sandbox game Minecraft that explodes. You’ve probably seen memes or heard songs about these before. It hunts you down and has some songs about it, such as Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom (Creeper Rap) by Dan Bull and Revenge (Creeper Aww Man) by CaptainSparklez and Tryhardninja. They are commonly associated with Minecraft, popular culture and gaming in general.
