Bug in the buns is an expression used to say there is a problem. When there is a bug in the plastic bag of hamburger or hotdog buns, it is never pleasant. This phrase can be used to say there is an issue or it can be used to say something is out of place.
Me: Uh oh, we have a bug in the buns.
Jen: What’s wrong?
Me: The microphone for the talent show isn’t working!

A game that was played on long road trips. To pass time while stuck in a vehicle, passengers would scan the highway, streets or roads in search of a Volkswagen Beetle. Also known as a bug. The moment that you see one you point it out and punch the other passengers while saying "Punch a Bug". The object is to find the Bug before everyone else do you can punch others and avoid being punched yourself. This game is similar to "Out of State License Plate".
