A boy that barely eats, and when he does eat, it is out of stress. He will intently watch you eat and wants you to share.

Reference by a retailer or landlord (especially by landlords!) to a person who is chronically impoverished, problematic to deal with, and is considered to be worth little or nothing to the business; usually this person presents a LOSS to a landlord or retailer.
Retail: This is someone who is poor but incredibly demanding and time-consuming customer who doesn't want to pay and/or haggles a lot. Refers to a customer who buys things that are the loss-leaders or hangs out soaking staff for time and effort and ends up trying to cadge unauthorized discounts.
Landlords: A tenant who is full of problems and requires a lot of effort or rescheduling to collect rent from. Refers especially to those who are struggling to make ends meet, and is used as an insult. This is the tenant who bounces from eviction to eviction, paying only what is required to get in the door and then does not pay until evicted.

"Don't waste your time offering him a coupon; that skinny chicken wants everything cheap.
"I will be taking that skinny chicken to eviction court next week, ugh, so sick of them stealing time."

When people try to imitate skinny people. Just like cat fishing and black fishing, people try to be perceived a certain way that's different from who they really are.
It's problematic because it reflects shame about being a non-skinny bodytype and reinforces a standard of one rare bodytype.
It's okay to be skinny. But if you are not, that's fine aswell. Be yourself. Thrive. Love yourself.

1. When girls take leg pictures with their hip pushed slightly backwards, in order to have a thigh gap which they usually don't have, that's skinny fishing.
2. Lying on the beach and sucking in your tummy to a point where it gets ridiculously obvious. Nobody is gonna believe you are normally like this, sticking out ribs with a hollow tummy and a blue face yet your bum and legs look perfectly normal. Just breathe, okay?
3. Stretching your pictures for social media or even editing your limbs and waist tiny makes you guilty of skinny fishing. Just be yourself and stop promoting unrealistic ideals. Else you are part of the problem.
