A popular childhood game played in the West indies, commonly in Trinidad and Guyana, where 2 opponents face off against each other scratching anything from yuh batty to whatever can be found with the goal to trick your opponent into sniffing said thing you scratched.

Derived from the word driveby or drive-by, a sniff-by or sniffby is the act of checking the levels of freshness/cleanlyness from someone's smell. Example a parent might pick up their baby and do a sniff-by (especially if wearing a onesie or overalls; no easy view at the diaper's fullness). Parent might do a sniff-by on their teenager's armpit, if a shower was needed or how long of a shower was needed. One might do a sniff-by on someone undies (not for fetishes, but to see if they were having an affair). The smell of latex from a condom, semen drippings, or aftershave from recent grooming.

n. The sound of 2 lines being snorted in a short progression because you were stupid and let Sally go first when you knew better. SNIIIIIF - delay of just long enough to move to the next line - SNIIIIIF usually followed by a questioning look on her face. What? We were only supposed to.do 1 of those little bitty lines?
