Paradoxonym

Paradoxonym. A term to describe a misspelled word that is not recognized or corrected by spell-check engines because it is a correctly spelled word, but not the actual word intended for use by the author.

The spellchecked document is assumed to have correct spelling. However, because of paradoxonyms the spellchecked document must be further analyzed to ensure correct spelling of the intended words.
Paradoxonym examples: 1. Author types "wood", but intended to spell "would". 2. Author types "all", but intended to spell "awl". 3. Author types "skies", but intended to spell "skis".

In all cases, spell check will find no spelling errors when in fact there are spelling errors.

Opiate Paradox

The strange phenomenon, and a cruel joke of the gods, where when taking opiates such as vicodin, oxycodone, or H, one will become extremely horny yet totally unable to ejaculate. This unfortunate circumstance can cause the medical condition priapism, as well as broken blood vessels, penile chafing, depression, and insanity.
Feverishly masturbating for 4 hours after receiving vicodin for a teeth pulling, little Timmy was another victim of the unfortunate opiate paradox.

parade wave

Oscillation of the hand from the wrist with minimal input from the elbow or shoulder. Popularised by the British Royal Family.

Often to be seen from the back of landaus and throught the glass of armoured limousines as royals waft past.

Unpopular with American presidents who seem to prefer a more grandstanding straight up from the shoulder type vigorous waggling of the whole arm. But then, they only have to do it for 8 years, not a lifetime.
There goes the Queen Mum, giving the crowd her elegant little parade wave.

paradigm shift

A set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices that constitutes a way of viewing reality for the community that shares them, especially in an intellectual discipline.
Einstein once said, "imagination is more important than knowledge." He may be partly right, as I apologize, the above definition is for paradigm, perhaps allow me to better example a paradigm shift here. It isn't as wise to not publish a visionary who foresees a better future, using imagination as well as calculation that may ideal a greater reality, despite our seeming knowledge now of the society apparently. Ideally a paradigm shift is an ascension of sorts, like when humankind civillized or evolved, to the point where they stopped believing that the gods wanted them to sacrifice virgins. In a paradigm shift we'd again eat our vegetables instead of smoke them, we'd be creditted from and use what we're made of, such as Hydrogen for fuel instead of pollution. There is a huge higher set of relativity, that can solve virtually all of our foolish worldly problems, a paradigm shift could come from real leadership. Please believe first acknowledging an extreme atomic negativity which could nuke all of us dead, ridding the Earth of all Humans and so their problems, but also imagine on extreme opposite being that of atomic positivity, where prosperity for all simply depends on leadership for their work efficiency, and in that better extreme might most of our foolish little problems be solved also though truly.

A sequel to the movie Revenge of the Nerds in which Lewis and Gilbert, Wormser, Takashi, Poindexter, Lamar Latrell and Booger once again face off against jocks and cheerleaders and prevail, winning cute girlfriends and putting on a rap concert.
Revenge of the Nerds was great. I'm glad it had a sequel, Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise, that was also pretty darn good.
