An underground skate thrash band from Emmett, Idaho. Known for their grimey guitars, razor sharp screams, and their ability to play around 200 beats per minute. Also appreciated and criticized by some for their anti-violent lyrics and drug free stance. They have adopted the genre name "Peace Punk."

Flat Wheels Local

The nickname of the old Grand Street Shuttle train that ran from 57th Street and Avenue of Americas to Grand Street in New York City in the 1980s, the cars used as R27s had every wheel with flat spots and made such a loud noise you can hear the train from as far as 5 stops away.

"Damn Jimmy what the hell is that loud noise in the tunnel?" Ah Tony that's the sound of the "Flat Wheels Local" and it sounds like its at 34th Street herald square right about now!

In Australia, the #local is the nearest pub. It is also someone accepted as a true member of the community. They work together; one determines the other.

Am I a #local, yet? In my #local it is "You're only a #local if you've been here 40 years, and even then, only if we say you are. So #STFU". Of course I don't; they listen & they might reply now & again; they put up with me; but I don't have the years in me to become a true #local.
