The codename from windows 7, It was originally named windows 7 second and advanced edition, And when windows 7 ended support in 2020, windows 7.1 became more popular than usual, so everyone wanted to upgrade, and in 2023, Windows 8.1 will end support, so it might become windows 8.2 (The second edition of Win8.1 and 8) Windows 7.1 is Never released, But is still used for when you have a notification on your Win7 device that says: Hello, Win7 ended support, And it shows a link that takes you to windows 7.1 setup, So that: "Never released" Version of windows might be released after all

Windows 8.1

Windows 8, but 100x better.
The start button is back, no booting to the start screen etc.

An OS made in Late 2013 and was made due to the reception of the original Windows 8.
Windows 8.1 was very praised. but support ended almost 10 years later on: January 10, 2023.

I bought Windows 8 a few months ago, and I hated it. but 8.1 is AMAZING!!

I like opening windows to let the breeze in. Some poeple have trouble opening windows because they are rusty. Opening windows in school isn't always appropriate. After I finish opening windows, all I see is sunlight.
