pick-me

A pick me (sometimes spelled as pick-me or pickme) is someone who puts down members of their own identity group for validation from others. Commonly used to refer to women (pick me girls), but can also be seen in others. Pick-me men also tend to be performative males, often pretending to relate to women's problems (most commonly in cis men). They often play into stereotypes, disregarding what the people around them are actually like

Pick me's can also be seen putting down members of their own ethnicity, sexuality, religion, etc (i.e: a trans person saying non-binary people are weird despite non-binary being under the trans umbrella)

Girl 1: "Jane is such a pick-me."
Girl 2: "I know right??? She's always like "I'm one of the boys, I could never do make-up or drink something fruity" it's so annoying"

Pick Me

The term "Pick-Me girl" is a derogatory word for women used by female incels and radical left extremists, who force their perceived hypocrisy towards them, while always thinking they're right and never wrong, especially regarding social issues like equality and feminism.
Most of the women are unhappy and single who are generelly irresponsible for their own actions and uncapable of taking accountability towards their own actions.

Pick-Me

A girl who pretends to be somebody she's not solely to gain attention from other people, usually guys.

Jenna is such a pick-me girl, she's always trying to be different.
(Jenna was just a random name, I'm not referring to anybody.)
