Black collar

An undertaker or someone that buries people, someone that wears black all the time.

A black collar is like a gray collar, you can take it off whenever you feel like it, and you don't feel confined to the same blue or white collar everybody else has always tried to put around your neck or their own neck (since it sounds like a way to put somebody on a leash, or make yourself look like you're on somebody else's leash even when you're really not). That's probably why you never hear about a black collar or a grey collar, the wrong people have always used white and blue collars to ostracize or control the minds of everybody that doesn't call themself blue or white collar, or try to fit in one or the other group.

An office worker, who works within a labor-intensive field, that tries to fit in with their blue-collar colleagues. They try to convince themselves that because they drive a truck, wear workboots and throw in the occasional chewing tobacco that they are not some beta male desk jokey.

Craig in accounting bought a brand new Ford F-150, started wearing boots, and is listening to country music. He is a collar trader.

As I taught the students on how to pronounce 'foreskin' and as im female and due to some of them being foreign. We reached the point during the lesson where variations of the word needed to be shown. Among them was 'knob collar' as a slang variant.

White Collar Ginger

When you need a 5 minute break between tasks, as a mental reset, just like how ginger neutralizes your pallet between sushi pieces.

This is typically seen at work, although could be used in most busy settings.

Bert: Man, I am exhausted after that 3 hour meeting, and I have a call in 2 minutes with my top client. My brain is SO fried.
