A prank played by sports teams on new teamates where the new teamate is laying on the ground, and a towel is placed over top of their face. Then, secretly one member of their team pulls down their pants and crouches over top of the new teamate. The new teamate is then told to do 1 sit up. As soon as the victim starts to sit up, the towel is taken away from their face, and their face is shoved into the players ass.

Anyone of the male persuasion known for dodging conflict of any kind, avoiding responsibilities, etc.
The opposite of a 'stand-up guy.'

My ex boyfriend owes me money for rent, child support and the $300 I loaned him to get his teeth fixed.
Really? What a sit-down guy he is!

A term coined by Hanley to characterize her mother Amy; the worlds first sit down comedian. Essentially, a sit down comedian is a true talent, pound for pound, whose beauty, witticisms and jocularity outweighs their body mass.
Comedy can be compared to that of bacteria. Its misuse and overuse leads to a significant loss in its effectiveness. A Newer, stronger strain must evolve over time in order for it to live on. For that reason, it’s inevitable a mutation of some kind will arise for it to become more resilient. In this case the ‘supersatire’ was sit down. Which proved to be highly infectious. :P
The idea was born when Amy was faced with the challenge of performing whilst standing. The performer saw no choice but to replace the comical aspect of stand up with sit down comic theatre, Putting a new happy fat face on comedy.

Used to describe anything bona fide or legit like as a seal of approval.
Originated from Andy Griffith (speaking on a Ritz Cracker TV commercial):
"Mmm-mmmmh. Anything sits good on a Ritz." Supposed to mean Ritzes are so excellent.
IT SITS WELL ON A RITZ refers to being good enough for a Ritz (figuratively).
Not limited to just food.
