Bean is a very versatile word. Similar to the new hipster use of the word “minute,” it can be used to describe a long or short period of time depending on the context of the conversation.

Context: Friends that have not seen each other in a while.

“Yooo it’s been a bean bro, I miss you”

Context: A friend is on his way and will be there shortly.

“I’m around the corner I’ll be there in a bean”
