pulling a mitchell

When you do a project for a foreign language class the morning it is due and don't prepare the speaking part at all but still get an A on it.
I pulled a mitchell on that French project that I presented today. I can't believe it worked!

How often do you pull a Mitchell?

I swear, pulling a Mitchell works every time for me. It's a lot better than doing it a few days before hand.... Preparation for weaks!

Pulling a Tayler

Lying about random stuff to mess with people, claiming to be fat when you're really not, freaking out when put on the spot so you say really nice things which surprises people since they aren't used to you being nice, etc.
Christine said that she's going to do cheer leading instead of joining the school soccer team.

What? She's not like that, why would she cheerlead when she loves soccer?

Oh she's just Pulling a Tayler again like she did in that interview.

Pulled a Leibniz

To unknowingly invent something which already exists.

Named after mathematician Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, who thought his fancy maths were something new, but in reality they had already been found 8 years earlier by Isaac Newton.
You know that dissertation I was working on lately? Well, turns out I pulled a Leibniz: the whole thing was already discovered centuries ago by some German scientist.

Jacob: Sorry man, I can't right now. I've locked my keys in the car... Again.

Michael: Really... Again? That's such a Jacob thing to do. You might even call it, pulling a Jacob.
