A Zander Emo
An emo prick, with stupid ginger hair that's shaved round the sides and long on the top. The long hair on the top is pulled, with reasonable force (assumed to be a form of self-harming) across the face, so as to hide one eye. Said ginger emo will walk around hitting out with colloquial, yet - strangely - not emo, banter and assume he is funny. Yet, deep down, we all know he is just another ginger emo prick.
Also note that a Zander Emo may well have a bent penis, resembling the shape of a boomerang, but usually not as big, or fun.
Therefore, to spot a Zander Emo one should simply look for the previous mentioned haircut and someone who stands side on when peeing into a urinal.

The difference between punk, emo, and scene
Punk- People who are rebellious, they don't like being told what to do. They tend to make their own clothes. (Hence the ripped clothing) True punks are non-conformist. So this means they do what they want because they themselves want to infact do that, not because there friends convince them into changing. They want to make an impact on authority to change it for the better. They believe in rebellion, but for a cause thats worth it.
Emo- More of a phase. People who tend to be more emotional and don't handle pain to well. They have a low tolerance for emotions. They don't always wear black, but also don't wear bright colors.
Scene- It's just more of a fashion. They like the goth look, but add neon colors and accessories. (Clip on bow berrets from when you were younger) Almost a Raver/Burner and Goth mixture.

fake emo
people at my school (and lots of other people) are becoming.. "emo". they wear black clothes and pink eyeshadow and listen to the used. They think this makes them emo, and they think they are cool because of it.
However some people are really emo and quite a few of them are in circumstances where it is definatley not cool to be like them. Fake emos can also be mallcore.

finding emo
A simple game, to be played in an urban environment for the best results.
1. Spot an emo kid for 1 point,there are many kinds folks ex. dressy-emo, nerd-emo, goth-emo, punk-emo, rockstar-emo, poser-emo, retro-emo, hippy-emo,fag-emo etc.
2. 1 bonus point is awarded if the above spotted emo kid is wearing brand name affiliated clothin (sorry...globus doesn't count)
3. 3 bonus points are awarded if you can identify the persons unique dehabilitating emo condition ex. whiny-made_fun_of_in_high_school-dye_my_hair_black_cause_its_blond-emo or slick_(4'11" 100p)-tough_guy-vegan-leather_jacket_wearin-fonz-lookalike-soy_latte_drinkin-emo
4. The only way you win this game is if you spot an emo kid wearing a beaver skin hat (sorry folks...those are the rules)

Victoria is a good place to play finding emo because people enjoy expressing themselves...especially because its the in thing.
