Davy Jones Syndrome

Davy Jones Syndrome is best Described as the Other end of Love Blindness or Obsession, It is also the Terrible Aftermath of Large-Scale Goldigging or having a Camgirlfriend, For instance, If a Guy(We'll Call a "Davy") falls madly in Love with a Girl(We'll call a "Calypso"), and that Girl offers similar Affection, but at a price, Such as Money, Favours or Other Things, Sometimes the "Davy" offers the "Calypso" things and gives anything at the cost of their own Wellbeing and Health (Literally giving their Heart away, like Davy Jones),If the "Calypso" who is using the "Davy" gets what they want, they will then Leave or Ghost the "Davy" until they Lose interest, this doesn't usually happen, and the Poor soul who has been Used continues to try and talk to them or contact them, they then realise that and feel Betrayed and used, resulting to them feeling enraged and Angered, despising anyone who they associate with the "Calypso", this makes the "Davy" extremely hostile any new form of Love or Affection, because that "Calypso" was everything to them, If that "Calypso" reconciles with the "Davy" the Syndrome Ceases or is Nulled for a Perioid of Time, But it leaves the "Davy" at risk of doing everything they did before.
Lionel: "Did you hear that Emily Blocked Steve?"
Brian: "Yeah, He's not reacting well, he's acting as he'll Never Love Again"

Peter Pan Syndrome

Peter pan syndrome (PPS) is a condition where an adult acts much younger than others of their age group. PPS can be temporary or long-lasting. Someone with PPS demonstrates at least three of the following characteristics:

1. Knowledge and use of youth culture that is unusual when compared to their peers in age
2. Having most of their friends and/or major relationships with people much younger than their age OR with people who also have PPS
3. Avoidance of saying their age; when describing themselves, may use phrases such as "young at heart", "adventurous", "young soul", "never grew up", "one of the cool ones", "carefree", etc.
4. Having a consistent pattern of failed commitments (career/romantic relationships/other major adult responsibility); directionless in life goals
5. Constantly missing their youth and frequent attempts to recreate it
6. An inability to mentally view themselves at their current age
7. Deliberate avoidance of responsibility or being uncomfortable with commitment

It can result due to multiple reasons, such as (but not limited to) a fear of aging, existential anxiety, or a personality disorder in severe cases.

See "Wendy Syndrome" for someone who enables, feels responsible to "fix", or acts in a caregiver role to the person with PPS -- often resulting in a unhealthy or codependent relationship.
The first step to fix peter pan syndrome is to acknowledge that you have it.

4 AM Syndrome

A phenomenon which leads one's English (or whatever language one speaks) to either become less controlled or logical than usual or archaic and verbose; it also causes one to say things one wouldn't ordinarily say. Often quite embarrassing, this syndrome is most evident in those who chat or speak with friends or relatives in the wee hours of the morning.
Deb: I'm sorry about last night!! It was late, and I don't know what I was saying!
Pedro: No worries--I'm sure it was just the 4 AM Syndrome.

shiny upperclassmen syndrome

When a boy becomes more appealing to a girl simply because he is older than her, specifically if he is an upperclassman (junior or senior in high school). It seems many younger girls are drawn to older guys for this reason, even if he doesn't really have much else going for him. For girls, dating up is somewhat prestigious.
I suppose this could also apply in college, but I have not yet come across that scenario.
"Why does she even like him? He isn't very cute and his personality is just so-so..."
