A tremendously long line and wait at a restaurant would be Social Evidence that the food must be good!

1.) Sitting in the furthest desk of a classroom with nobody around you.
2.) Sitting alone at a lunch table while everyone stares at you and gives you "the look".
3.) Waiting while one of your friends talks to a group of people of whom you do not know.
4.) Having no friends at all and being stared at while you're in isolation, thus giving you an awkward, uncomfortable feeling 24/7.

A person's sudden tendency to purposely and deliberately do something awkward, cringy, or weird (but not harmful) in front of other people (usually strangers or people they don't know well), with the intent of being amused or entertained by their followed reactions.
John: *Gives a thumbs up to a random stranger he knows he had never seen before, then chuckles at their weirded-face reaction*
Jake (John's friend): "Again with your Social Strokes dude! If you don't care about your social image I do jeez! Just stop it!"
John: "Ahahahahahah! Sorry dude I just had to see his reaction I don't know what happened to me XD"
Jake: "It's called a Social Stroke... You always have them... And always when I'M WITH YOU!"

A classy wine bar in Chicago where all the basic girls go to take pics for Instagram under a neon pink "Rosé All Day" sign.
"Dude I've seen this sign on every girl's Tinder profile; where is this place?"
"Oh yeah that's the Hampton Social."
"Oh yeah that's the Hampton Social."

An alternative to drunk, sloshed, plastered, etc. but avoiding the stigma surrounding alchohol abuse.

Social Work is a profession without enough respect or funding. The people who continue to show up are: Social Workers-
A person who feels driven to help others less fortunate than themselves. A person who continues to feel this way despite low funds, and not enough funding sources. A person who continues to feel this way despite ignorant viewpoints like the ones published on this site. Unlike what a fool wrote previously on this site, people must attend school, non-technical schools don’t count. A person who went to at least a 4 year school after high school and graduated with a Bachelors in Social Work (BSW). A person who went to at least six years of school after high school and graduated with a Master in Social Work (MSW). A person who grasps the ability of empathy and compassion while working out in the field, the class work has nothing to do with the easy of the job.
A person who can handle the most mentally draining times, again and again, but continue to wake up feeling driven to serve. These situations include reporting the abuse of the elderly, listening to a former alcoholic/drug addict admit to relapse, witnessing a child have their life beat out of them, seeing first hand the way mental abuse can hurt an individual, feeding children who have had nothing to eat for days, helping a family deal with a suicide of a loved one, find a home for an elderly parent when their family can’t handle them anymore, ensuring the mentally take their medications daily so they don’t end up re-committed into the hospital for erratic behavior and caring for the children who have no one to care for them.
