A derogatory term to call a black person. Rappers (Predominantly black) use this phrase A LOT.
This is also used in urban African-American language where calling another darkskin a nigga can refer to them being their friend (or something like that, whaddya expect? I'm not a fuckin dictionary)

Nigga

The word nigga comes from the derogatory term “nigger” which means ignorant person. However black people have turned it to a positive word to call their homies/friends. Should never be said by a white person because since whites were the ones who made up the word nigger in the first place them saying nigga makes the word lose it’s meaning. This word is very powerful for African decents because it shows we can take a word that used to hurt us and demean us and turn it into a powerful word that is now positive to us and to call our black brothers and sisters to remind them we are powerful.

Person 1: Wassup Nigga
Person 2: What up my nigga
