Just about every kid knew as a kid that they would die, and that along the way to death they would get hurt plenty of times, and that healing back to one hundred percent of who you are never really happens, though it sounds good. Just about every kid knew they bled just like any other kid, no matter their blood type. Some of the bravest souls might have been the kids that died before their 18th birthdays, but really you know this stuff as a kid.
Claiming to be invincible and knowing that you won't get hurt or killed easily is two different things. There is nobody alive that can't be hurt or killed, and there is nobody alive that can't hurt or kill (is incapable of) someone else.
