Midwestern Goodbye

A Midwestern Goodbye is a way to leave an event, party, or any gathering of people. The way one does a Midwestern Goodbye is to go to the door, grab your coat and proceed to talk to your host for multiple hours while next to the door. No matter the soberness of yourself or your host you must engage in an enriching conversation covering recent and past topics and events. A Midwestern Goodbye is commonly associated with Minnesota Nice

do-do-gooder

A social reformer, knave who thinks everyone else's shit stinks but not their own. So convinced their cause/reform is needed they can't even tell their own shit stinks too.
That do-do-gooder, politician, has no clue about how to get shit done.

Blowed up real good

Canadian slang, often used dismissively or as a joke -- wow, wish that idiot would blow up real good! Originated during the 1970's in Canada by Second City cast members John Candy and Joe Flaherty. on the comedy show SCTV, a fictitious television network with it's own shows, one of them being the Farm Film Report, where two farmers discuss the latest movies and film theory - a routine parodying Siskal and Ebert. Supposedly the best part of a film is when things get "blowed up real good." They even had some celebrity guests (other cast members dressed up as Dustin Hoffman, Bernadette Peters etc) who were "blowed up real good" during special "Celebrity Blow Up" segments.
"Best part of the movie was when things blowed up," says John Candy. "For sure," replies Joe Flaherty, "they blowed up real good!...real good!!"

good for you

When saying good for you to someone, the real meaning behind your words are "GO FUCK YOURSELF!"
the teacher was telling me about his unimportant weekend events, I said "good for you" because I hated him.

I’m here for a good time not a long time

Commonly seen on Tinder bios (as well as other dating apps) to denote that the user is not looking for anything serious (I.e. a relationship). Instead, they are looking for a casual fling/hook up/just sex.
*opens tinder*
“Yo dude, her bio says,’ I’m here for a good time not a long time!’ You know what that’s means!”
*Swipes right*

Short definition: just looking for sex
