When someone turns popular, gets more friends, yk, and stops hanging out with their original friends.
Yo! Isn’t that Brenda Gonzales? Didn’t you use to be friends? Yea, but then she got a case of the popular effect.

The Dr. Helga Effect is a situation where you continue to preemptively refine and improve upon your work simply because you have agreed to share it with, and receive feedback from, Dr Helga before you actually share it with Dr Helga.
Person 1: I wrote an article and revised it 5 times before I would even dare submit it.
Person 2: That's the Dr Helga Effect for you!

Kaleidoscope Effect: A cognitive and perceptual phenomenon where an individual views their specific religion or belief system as the exclusive truth, thereby limiting their awareness of broader, universal spiritual concepts, such as God = Light + Awareness. This effect can cause individuals to focus narrowly on the patterns and teachings within their own religious framework, much like how a kaleidoscope presents a single, fragmented view, rather than recognizing the interconnected and expansive nature of spiritual reality.
This metaphor captures the idea that, while a kaleidoscope offers beautiful and intricate patterns, it can also restrict one’s view to those patterns alone, obscuring the larger, more unified picture. By naming this effect, you highlight the importance of transcending religious exclusivity to embrace a more inclusive understanding of spirituality.

“Many people experience the kaleidoscope effect, where they see their own religion as the sole path to truth, preventing them from embracing the broader concept of God as Light and Awareness beyond religious boundaries.”

When working third shift, while it's dark outside you are tired and fatigued either due to lack of sleep, or exhaustion but when morning light appears (daylight) You are suddenly full of energy and awake like you haven't worked 12 hours shift
Me: "dude, I'm so eepy but I can't eep because of the stupid daylight effect
Them: What's the daylight effect?
Me: oh it's where I can't sleep because my brain thinks that the sun being out means my day is just starting when it's supposed to be ending
