Hunter Wellingtons were originally worn for use on Farms or Field shoots but have made their way into fashion and used now as an accessory and not as their intended purpose anymore.

These are people who wear them when there is a light bit of rain, but have never stepped foot onto a field or farm. They use them to make people think they are country girls/guy but HATE the country side. Generally considered a poser.
