Deerfounded

When you see a deer and are so busy looking at it you miss a turn or almost hit the person in front of you.

Driver: "Hey a deer"
Passenger: "Lovely"
-stops car-
passenger: "ummm. You know the person behind us is giving you the bird right?"
Driver:"What...oh yeah. Sorry i was Deerfounded."
Passenger: "okay....."
-continues driving-

In deer hunting, the act of driving deer towards the brink of a cliff. In the stone age, hunters would drive the deer towards a cliff and collect the carcase at the bottom. In modern times, deer hunters can sometimes use spoonerism to turn 'beer drinking' into 'deer brinking'.

The older hunter told the young hunter to practice up on his 'deer brinking' for the upcoming hunting season.
