A term used by fishermen when they are talking out of their ass. It's used by recreational, commercial, and charter captains alike. This word dates back to 1492 when Christopher Columbus sailed on Santa Maria. Christophers' first iteration of the word was used to describe a fisherman telling tall tales about the stripped bass population in Boston harbor disapating rapidly.
"Hey Delzingo, how big was that tuna you guys caught off P-Town?"
"Ayeeo Captain we caught a 142" 1078LB Yellowfin"
"Cmon Brad, STOP COOMBSIN!"
